The exam is designed to evaluate whether a candidate possesses the critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills required for safe and effective entry-level nursing practice.
The NCLEX-RN is developed and administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) and uses a Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) format, meaning the difficulty of questions adjusts based on your performance.
